Why one-to-one?
Most of the people I work with have "tried everything" and are still not happy with their Norwegian. One-to-one gives you a setup that is both efficient and flexible, and it moves you forward whatever your goal is.
I have learned languages myself, and I know how demotivating it is to meet teachers who are not fully dedicated. Some teachers have so many students that they even forget what they have said before, and what the student actually needs to work on.
In my view, a good teacher has to know exactly what the student is working on. Staying closely involved and working together is what gives results. That is why I work the way I do.
I am with you the whole way. I know what you are good at, and I know what you need to work on.
Learning is not only about the subject. It is just as much about the person, so I spend time keeping you motivated and building a space where you learn on your own terms.

We start with a free introductory call. Then we begin:

Selv om jeg hadde bodd i Norge i ni år, slet jeg fortsatt med uttalen. Jeg hørte at jeg hadde aksent og uttalefeil, men klarte ikke helt å finne ut hva det var jeg gjorde feil.

Even though I had been living in Norway for nine years, I was still struggling with my pronunciation. I could hear that I had an accent and made mistakes, but I could never quite work out what I was doing wrong.
